What's included in Hyperion Strings Elements?
Hyperion Strings Elements includes a combined full ensemble preset, as well as individual section master and true legato presets for 8 Violins, 6 Violas, 5 Cellos, and 4 Double Basses. Each section has fingered and gliss true legato for vibrato and non-vibrato sustains, tremolo, a full spectrum of short note speeds/styles, and an extended catalog of modular dynamic expressions like crescendos, decrescendos, sforzandos, and swells.
The master presets allow you to blend and switch between different articulations using key-switches, velocity layers, or the expression wheel. You can also customize the mapping, performance options, and auto-functions to suit your workflow. The library also features a built-in arpeggiator, FX rack, and convolution reverb with 25 custom environments to choose from.
How does Hyperion Strings Elements sound?
Hyperion Strings Elements has a strong tone and wide dynamic range that can be used for various musical genres and styles. It can also be layered with other strings to create massive arrangements. The library has a natural humanism that adds realism and emotion to your compositions. The true legato transitions are smooth and fluid, and the dynamic expressions are responsive and expressive.
The library also gives you control over the spatialization, environment simulation, and positioning of the strings. You can adjust the stereo width, panning, distance, and reverb of each section to create your desired soundstage. You can also use the FX rack to add more character and color to the strings with EQ, compression, distortion, chorus, flanger, phaser, delay, and more.
